Nicole Laudato, PHR, SHRM-CP
I am ever inspired by the people around me who want to make a difference in the world. While I have a full-time career as a Director of Human Resources, my passion has always been in the realm of Consulting with a focus on Direct Marketing. Consulting has been a way for me to help other businesses attract and retain talent and reduce exposure through proper training and leadership development. I also show business owners how to send appreciation to their employees, prospective clients, family, and friends in an efficient and impactful way.
I like to think of my resume as wildly diverse and expansive. Thanks to life as a military spouse, I moved worldwide over 15 years and had so many different career opportunities. From Administrative Manager of 10 clinics in Arizona to an Electives Teacher at a Discipline Alternative Education School and everything in between. I was part owner and Operations Manager at Kaffee Kiosk, a local independent coffee chain in Minot, North Dakota. Who doesn’t love a great local coffee shop?!
During my tenure at my full time employer, I’ve helped the company become a Top Workplace 6 years in a row. The company has grown from 4 locations to 12 in the last eight years. With this continued success and growth, we’ve still successfully avoided litigation for wrongful employment decisions by educating leadership, training managers, and efficiently ensuring all employees work in a happy, safe environment.
I am a graduate of Amridge University, where I majored in Human Resources Leadership and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I hold a Business Teaching Certification in grades 6-12 in Texas. I have my Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR) from the Human Resources Institute, and I am also a Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). I am currently working on obtaining my senior levels of both certifications.
I currently live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but have had the fantastic opportunity to live all over the world so travel is one of my favorite things to do. When I’m not busy building my consulting business, you can find me camping with my family in the mountains. Don’t confuse this with roughing it in the woods, I take my espresso machine with me!!
